Shorin Bujutsu Dojo is an OSMKKF chartered dojo that teaches Grandmaster Kise's traditional Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo in Louisiana. Classes are taught by Sensei Michael Veillon, OSMKKF member and certified 3rd Degree Black Belt. Sensei Veillon is a student of Shihan John Shipes (U.S. Western Director for OSMKKF), sensei of the Athens Karate School (Athens, TX).

Youth classes are open to boys and girls ages 7 & up. Adult classes are open to men and women ages 16 & up.
Karate Classes Promote: Safety Awareness, Self Discipline, Physical Fitness, Self Confidence, Respect, Coordination, Setting & Achieving Goals. Classes Teach: escape and self defense techniques, free-hand techniques and traditional Okinawan Kobudo (weapons), tuite (self-defense/grappling), how to fall and roll properly without getting hurt, how to control the situation.
Also available: Women's Self Defense - open only to women and young ladies of dating age. Class consists of mixture of discussion, demonstration, and lots of hands-on practice. Learn simple but very effective escape and self defense techniques to reduce the anxiety over the possibility of attack and to enable you to deal with aggression when threatened. Learn how to control the situation. Learn how to avoid being targeted as a victim.
